I'm Dari. 21. Musician. Artist. Florist's Assistant. And I'm reaffirming my love affair with health and wellness.
This is not a personal weight loss blog. I've reached a weight very close to my original ultimate goal weight (within ten pounds), so I'll be focusing on general fitness and whole eating now, and my body will find its natural weight. I'm also a flexitarian, which means I eat meat, but not a lot, and hypoglycemic, which means my body cannot handle sugar in excess, and needs a diet higher in protein.
Don't expect me to post pictures of skinny girls with thigh gaps. I am hardcore anti-thinspo. Fitspo is another story. I am here to motivate myself, and hopefully to inspire others to find their healthiest selves!

Hey fitblr community, there’s a documentary that needs our help
A friend of mine has asked me to use my blogging power to get some help for her friends documentary, and hell if there’s one thing I’m good at it’s blogging.
There are a few things that I’m passionate about, Doctor who, health, and educating people about how our food is made.
Well this Documentary is trying to do that (minus the doctor who :P). Chase (creator of the documentary) is trying to make a 30 minute documentary about health, students, and school lunches in America. It’s a topic that needs to talked about because of the health issues that are rising in the youth in America and the lack of education.
So I’m asking you guys to help. Not necessarily donating (if you could that would be awesome), but by reblogging, and spreading the word so that they can get the funding they need.
There’s only 3 days left, and it would be really awesome if the fitblr community could join together for the cause. They aren’t that far away from their target either.
There is more information in the link above along with a video explaining in better detail.
C’mon guys, we can do this :D
Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been posting much! Thanks for not unfollowing me! But my friend Chase really needs your help. This is such an amazing cause. Pitch in if you can/signal boost? Thanks so much. <3
1. Look in the mirror and say “Bitch, I’m fabulous.”
2. Don bikini.
And I’m like dying.
Lately I’ve found a lot of posts to be pretty triggering for some reason, even though I definitely tend to follow only body-positive blogs. I’m just bloated and upset and haven’t been eating as well as I could be, and I’ve been down on myself for it. I’m sure another part of it is having this desk job where I sit all day, where I used to have a very active job, so I feel sort of lazy and unhealthy. I realize that that’s sort of part of the working world, and as I have no idea what I want to do with my life besides be a musician, I’m sort of stuck with things like this until I become a bit more successful or sure of what I want to do.
Anyway, I’m definitely a couple years recovered, but sometimes things just get to you. I understand that we’re mostly all anti-thinspo, but even the ”fitspo” has been getting to me. It’s like a new unattainable goal, we’ve just shifted from rib bones to abs. I’ve just been feeling lately like I can’t possibly work out enough, and even though in my ED I was never an over-exerciser, I can sort of feel myself slipping into that mindset. So if you’re a fitblr/health blog, I’ll probably be unfollowing you for a couple days. Nothing personal, I only follow a few of you so you’ll be seeing me back around.
I do love the tumblr fitness community a whole bunch, and I’m sure I’ll be back in a few days. Just need a few days to figure some things out. <3 Love you guys, be back soon!
Mod note: This does actually go away after time, thankfully!
T___T I’m not the only one? I love this blog.
Yep okay this yep.

My “dear god I ate nothing but cheese and potatoes yesterday” lunch.
Sorry it took forever to post this! I actually did it on Thursday, but never got around to writing about it. This one was… WAY more intense than day 1. Day 1 I could do without struggling, but I really had trouble on some parts of this. I got through it, but not without dripping sweat all over the entire gym (use those wipes, y’all). I think most of the problem was that I had done tons of squats on Day 1, and Day 2 consisted of a lot of lunges and hill sprints (DEATH).
Here’s the workout for Day 2. Remember that there is no rest between sets, and only 30 seconds rest between circuits:
CIRCUIT 1:
CIRCUIT 2:
CIRCUIT 3:
CIRCUIT 4:
CIRCUIT 5:
In short, kill me. I was sore all night, but I actually felt pretty good the next day. Day 3 is a rest day (which I’m taking for four active-rest days). I’ll start Day 4 again when I finally have time on Tuesday!
Like, pizza for breakfast, melty cheesy sandwich with bacon and a side of potato chips for lunch, and fried chicken/french fries for dinner at two in the morning after drinking. But today is a new day!
